About Central Coast Tree Services

Central Coast Tree Services is a local enquiry and quoting service for tree removal, lopping and pruning, stump grinding, emergency and storm work, and land clearing across the NSW Central Coast: Gosford, Terrigal, Erina, Wyong, the Woy Woy peninsula, The Entrance and the rest of the Central Coast Region. The site is run by Yes Right Pty Ltd (ABN 91 664 546 061).

How it works.

You call or use the quote form and tell us about the tree, the access and what you want done. The job goes to a local tree business that can price it. That business quotes you directly and is responsible for its own qualifications, insurance and workmanship. We don't charge you for the enquiry. Businesses we refer work to may pay us a referral fee.

Do not take a website badge as proof. Ask the business that quotes you for these, and check them yourself.

• Qualification. AQF Level 3 arboriculture is the working-arborist qualification for climbing, pruning and removal. AQF Level 5 is the consulting level for arborist reports and AS 4970 tree-protection plans.
• Insurance. A current public liability certificate of currency, with the name on it matching the name on the quote.
• Safety. Confirmation that the crew works to SafeWork NSW height-safety and chainsaw requirements. Only an accredited Electrical Powerline Clearance operator may work close to powerlines; for a tree on or near the lines, call Ausgrid on 13 20 80.
• A written quote. A real quote names AS 4373 and describes the cut type. Be wary of anyone who offers to top a tree.
• Council permit. Most established trees on private land are protected under Central Coast Council's Tree and Vegetation Management controls, and removal or major pruning usually needs an approved Private Tree Works application. Confirm with Council on (02) 4306 7900 before work starts.
• Bushfire clearing. Before relying on the RFS 10/50 code, check your address on the NSW Rural Fire Service online tool.
